John started at Etheringtons Solicitors in 2014 working part time whilst undertaking full time study at Macquarie University. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degree, he was admitted as a solicitor in 2015.
Currently, John is undertaking a Master of Laws at UNSW.
John practises in the Property and Commercial Division of Etheringtons Solicitors. John has acted on residential and commercial conveyancing, retail and commercial leases (acting for landlords and tenants) and has experience in development and planning law.
John is also experienced in compulsory acquisition of properties by Government entities via the State Government.
In addition to property work, John has also performed corporate, commercial and business law work. This has included advice on compliance with the Corporations Act, drafting documents associated with companies, including shareholders agreements and the incorporation of companies, advice on company structure, advice in relation to trusts and sale and purchases of businesses, including share purchase agreements.
John also has experience in intellectual property matters, including trade marks, design copyright and confidential information.
An approachable and highly capable solicitor, John Pegg takes a commercial approach to his work, giving frank advice and ensuring he provides accessible and practical solutions to his clients. Having worked with a range of clients, including individuals and corporate entities, he understands the business sensibilities involved in a broad range of transactions.
When John is not busy working, he likes to play guitar and go cycling (usually not at the same time).
